There is a man who lives on the top floor of a very tall building. Every day he
takes the elevator down to the ground floor to go to work. Upon returning from
work, however, he only travels half way up in the lift and walks the rest of the way,
unless it is raining. Why?

He is very short and cannot reach the button to his floor. But when it rains, he can use his umbrella to push that button

His a short guy, who cannot reach the elevator's button everyday. when its raining, he uses his umbrella to press the button.
