I sort of bought an ocarina on ebay while drunk. But... I'm not sure what it is or how to say it. I'm not going to lie, though, I'm really excited. HAve you ever played Zelda: Ocarina of Time? I played that once and I'm really excited because now I'm going to pretend that I'm Zelda, playing it once I figure out how it works.

Oh(like in odd) -kah(like in cat) - reena (like in ballerina)

By the way, the history of ocarinas can be traced to the ancient Chinese and Meso-Americans. The most common ones had the shape of an oval, but many ocarinas with animal shapes were also found. Unlike the regular flutes, the ocarina type flutes uses its shape to create resonance.
