Yes, God does use us to do his will. Thank-You for reminding us, cause it does get a little overwhelming at times. God Bless.

AMEN to that dear brother.

I have had to do some scripture searching to answer questions from time to time and it has actually helped me to learn some fine points I was unaware of.

Notice too, Christians are for the most part happy people.
The atheists do not word comments in such a way as to make me think they are happy. Something is missing, but they have too much pride to admit there might be a God to whom they owe some respect and devotion. SAD.

It is for their sake I continue and hope that one day, the spirit will whisper the right words in their ear to break down that wall of pride and let Jesus in.

AND AGAIN I SAY..............AMEN........

If ever you need to copy and paste a line from the bible you can visit any of the following sites. The nice thing there is the search. It can take you to a subject very quickly when you need to find something.

http://www.biblegateway.com/ This one has several versions of the bible that you can select from. The New International makes for easy reading, and if you are up for it, "The Message" is in very modern vernacular. I have a wee bit of trouble imagining Peter saying, "What's up?" in Acts10 when the men from Cornelius ask to speak with him.

AMEN!

Each time I see a question or answer that does nothing but mock God and belittle the Christians,my faith is strengthened 10 fold. So,even though the ridicule does get tiresome at times,it only makes me strive even harder to do God's will.
Bless you for posting this question. You have reminded me of the truth of God's Word never coming back void.If only one person sees the truth in our words,it will all be worth it.

Amen, I agree. However, it does not bother me that they would mock me. I really get upset when they say things about the God I love and worship. It tries me. I have to work on this. They say such vile things it makes me very upset. Anyway, I love using this site and learning as well as teaching what I know to others. May the Lord bless you all!

No I do not feel overwhelmed by mocking. No I do not think why bother on these boards. Yes I know God's word never returns void. Yes I know He is using me to spread the truth of His word. Yes it is my purpose to speak His word and His truth in love, and also my great privilege.

Thank you. And God bless you too.

Thank you so much because I was new to this and found that the people who are in darkness are so nasty and rude and need a lot of light. It was discouraging at first and do you know I made a decision to refrain from this site tonight but the spirit compelled me to log back on and answer questions. Thank You Jesus, your words are right on time. Amen!!

Christians are given a commission to go and spread the Good News to the World. This is a wonderful tool to do just that.

If someone out there reads my questions and answers or someone else's, and it leads them in the direction to God, then that is why I come to this place.

Remember that the so called religious people that sat in the seat of Moses questioned Our Lord for doing the very same thing. His answer was He was sent for the sick not the well, for they have not need of a physician.><>

1) yes 2) no 3) no 4) yes 5) yes. I believe that one of my jobs that God has given me is to sow the seeds of the Word of God, and that I am not to judge the soils where the seeds fall. One of the beauties of the seed is that you can not see the seed grow until it starts to show through the soil! Amen to your encouragements, and Amen to this.

I'm not at all overwhelmed by the atheists. I attempt answering their questions honestly, just as I do with my atheist friends in reality. Sometimes, I end up learning from them (about how Christians are perceived, etc). I don't necessarily see the boards as a missionary effort, but if I can help teach a few people some facts about my religious beliefs ( in my case, Catholicism) versus myths and rumors, then I'm a step ahead. And answering questions does make me pause and think about things, which is always intriguing.

AMEN! It's cool that you say this! I think back on my "addiction" to answers and how many answers i've made on this topic and realize that this is keeping me thinking about God. It reminds me that I'm Christian and i need to help others recognize the truth. Very interesting question!! Thanks!

God Bless!
