Hi Becca...this is quite commonly seen in cats. Some contributory factors are genetics (persians snore more because of their flattened faces), obesity, sinus cavity obstruction, colds, allergies, etc. If it isn't interfering with your kitty's sleep the snoring should be fine. However, if you are concerned vets would welcome a call to discuss if your cat should be seen.
Here are some videos of other snoring cats:

Yes, my cat snores. Does it happen all the time or is it recent with the weather change?
Sometimes animals snore....just like people its a nasal thing.
The whole going to bed thing......that is funny, but yah, my cat
does that too. Actually, when its bed time and I dont go to bed
he will come and get me. He will meow until I go to bed.
Then he hops in bed and goes to sleep. Its a companion thing,
I guess.

My Poppy snores. She's overweight now, but she did it when she was a skinny kitten as well. It's not very loud and she doesn't do it all the time, but snores she does.
She also shares the bed with me. When I roll over and take the pillow with me, she goes to "her" spot at the head of the bed at my side.

Snoring? you cat may have allergies. Talk to your veterinarian about it. I think your cat makes weird noises and meows in bed to let you know "Hey, I'm right HERE!!" so you don't roll over on him...or possibly he is claiming HIS side of the bed!!Haa Haa!!

My Siamese cat does that. Sometimes my husband thinks it is me since she has to sleep in the middle of my back every night. Cats are funny...

It may be a sinus problem just like a human. Take him to the vet and ask if it could be possible. It could also be allergies that are swelling his nasal passages.
