how could they hinder?
it tells you not to kill
it tells you not to steal
it tells you not to committ adultry
it tells you to treat your parents in a honroable manner
and the list goes on. .

Those 10 commandments are still effective.
If one person violate any one of those, the law was given to make atonement for that sin.
But when Jesus Christ died on the cross the atonement was made once and forever for all those believe in him.
So the law was fulfilled but the commandment was not hindered.

Hinder? The commandments are very useful and helpful....if we were to obey them.

The world would be a better place if everyone followed the ten commandments. If you want to live a life with morals, follow them,you can't go wrong...

lets take a look at a few of them: thou shalt not kill. Good or bad? Thou shalt not commit adultery. Good or bad? Thou shalt not steal. Good or bad? That's just a few. I think if you are honest with yourself you will have to say most laws in most countries are based (even if loosely) on their basic concept. So therefor they are useful even in todays society.

Most of them are just proper moral conduct & should be considered useful no matter what religion (or lack of ) that you practise.
