Would it be that guy in a flight suit yelling mission accomplished or would you rather have the guy who is brave and organized and knows how to get you out alive? I don't care if he can tell a joke or not! Can he lead under fire??!!

Senator John Kerry. Not that Washington crew who managed to avoid serving, never had a bullet shot at them, and do romanticize war. Particularly that guy who jumps on an aircraft carrier, dressed in a jump suit, and declares victory. He is the guy who got dad to get him a soft assignment so he could ,if needed, say I served. Well there 2400 dead American and many more injured since his stunt. Lets not even discuss here the trillions of dollars of debt he has incurred for my grandchildren. id want a few of my fellow rangers.research before you spatttle your nonsense.president bush never said mission accomplished on board the carrier.that sign was put up at the end of the carriers deployment and was still hanging when bush landed.it was not for the war itself just for that particular carrier group.get your facts right.kerry by his own admission is a war criminal.he also took stupid chances just so he would get shot at.i wouldnt want to be anywhere around someone like that.by the way i have seen combat as i am sure you havent.

I'm not living Apocolypse Yesterday. I'm living here and now.........Brave and organized? I would guess that is simply a matter of perspective, and context.

People like you are a prime example of why the grass is always greener on the other side

IT depends on who you think is brave and organized.
Are you talking about the guy who only spent 3 months in Vietnam, while the ones who didn't study and do well had 13 month tours.

Are you talking about the guy who was shot by fragments
from his own weapon and tried to claim a Purple Heart.
The same guy who's service was questioned...

The same one....who stabbed his fellow mates in the back.

I'll take the guy on the carrier who has high morals and believes in the Almighty. He isn't the best speaker, but if you judge someone on that....solely you are a fool......

Karl Rove would smear Chesty Puller, Alvin York, and Audie Murphy if they were alive and opposed Lord Bush.

Kerry has been thoroughly ran-through on this issue of "covert missions".
A better question is: Why is Kerry so revered by the Communist Vietnamese that he is lauded and recognized as a "War Hero" and has found a place of honor in their "liberation" museum.

Oh, you mean the guy who later called his comrades war criminals?

I'd prefer the guy in the flight suit, at least he picks a side and stays on it.
