My trunk wont open with the trunk button or the key. The key only goes in the whole half way and when i hit the trunk button i dont hear any noise. What is broke, or is there a secret technique? I didnt jam it or anything ive never put anything in it really it just quit?!!?

Does anyone work for Nissan? Also I cant put the back seat down because the cord i have to pull is in the trunk.. It will open with my other set of keys but i lost them? Can I make a diff key?

It sounds as though your lock is jammed, You will have to visit the dealership, or a locksmith. The dealership will know if it is a defect, and be able to tell you. Also it may be a problem that the dealership will fix for free, since your car is so new, I would deffinately suggest going to the dealership first. After all, you don't have to have them do anything, but tell you what's wrong.

probaly someone jabbed something in the keyway which also disabled the trunk button....take it to a specialized car locksmith.

i think you should take it to the shop because i think the lock is jam or stuck.
