They are the same species. Just like you have White Winged Doves and Mourning Doves, wild-feral Pigeons are Rock Doves.

Not really, there are many species of doves and pigeons, but they're all in the same family, Columbidae. Rock Pigeon, Mourning Dove, it's just semantics.

Yes doves live here in my yard but thr first pigeon will be shot on sight.

They are the same species, but there are different sub-species. Some people call a bird that is all the same shade of gray and slightly smaller a dove and others call a bird that has different shades of gray and is slightly bigger a pigeon. However there are so many sub-species that can interbreed, it depends on who you are talking to which sub-species is which.

Pigeons live in a crowed city, droves live in a remote area with every thing expect ppl.
