i met this girl on an online dating site last night. we talk on messenger, saw each others pics (shes very cute), and then she said "im going to my room now i think, but you can call me if you want". so i ask for her number, call, and we talk for about 20-25 minutes about school, family life, san fran, halloween plans, clubs, drinking, etc etc. at the end she says "so can you call me tomorrow night" i said yes, we both say goodnight.
so now its the next night. im looking forward to talking to her again. its 9pm...she said she was taking her younger siblings trick or treating at around 7pm for like 2 hours.
when should i call her? i dont wanna seem desperate or needy lol...help girls!!

I'd definitely give her a call!! You don't want her to think you're not interested by waiting too long. If things went as well as you say they did, I'm sure she'll be excited.

You should call her around 10pm to be safe. She should be back home by then and that gives her a little bit of time to think about you without calling her so late at night.
If you don't want to sound desperate you should keep the conversion short, no more than 10 minutes. Be polite and let her know that you were thinking of her, and hoped she had a good halloween. Also if you haven't already done so, give your number to her and say that you have to go (it's the gentlemenly thing to do to allow girls to get their beauty sleep) but that your available tomorrow to talk some more. This way if she digs you, she has the option to call you also and you don't have to go chasng after her.
I hate to say it but we women fall for considerate guys who treat us like ladies and allow us space and time to daydream a little bit about you.
You guys sounded like you got off to a good start, keep it going!

Dude, stop the crap. Just call her when you want to call her. BE YOURSELF. More often than not, playing the 'dating game' will screw you much more than just doing what comes natural too you. If you scare her off with your 'calling too soon' or 'being too desperate' then she wasn't the right one for you.
Don't try to change yourself or be someone you are not for a woman. Sooner or later, she will see through it and all you will have lost was a lot of time in finding the one you don't have to be fake around in order to be loved.

Just call her when you want...a confident guy shouldnt worry abt such things. If she thinks you're needy, she'd probably drop a hint. More than likely, she's looking forward to a gd conversation with you again. Have fun and stop worrying about the trivial stuff! ;)

She obviously likes you....call her after you think she has gotten home and has had a chance to settle in for a few minutes. Ask her if you called at a convenient time when she answers. OR put the ball in her court and leave her a message while she is out to call you when it is convenient for her.

It's one of their many traps/mind-games.
You could ring at 8:40:01 and she would think that was too early, ring at 8:40:02 and its too late. Not ringing is also considered bad.
You cannot win.
