I could put scripture but I don't have my scriptures with me right now. Suffice to say, Christ came to Earth remembering his Heavenly father and knowing what was to come. He chose to follow the Lord's will in everything. He led a perfect life.

There is no scripture that can definately be translated to say Jesus never sinned. That is just something preachers have used to verify their own theories. Evolution is a better theory than that one, and there is not a snowballs chance in l that verticle evolution is a viable theory.

in strongs concordance sin as a word has 3 locations none in the new testiment. i'll ask a question for you watch what they come up with

My mistake Heb 4 15 says He was tempted and did not sin, however there is a period in life where sin is not imputed which means His childhood may not be covered by any of the sin references .. Apparently there are two words for sin in the concordance, I only noticed the second so y 2 words, and He is Lord whether He sinned as a child or not so its not important.

I found this on Bible Gateway and based on this scripture, it sounds as if Jesus did not sin because of his divinity, but understood how difficult it was for us as humans.

Hebrews 4:14-16 (New International Version)

Jesus the Great High Priest
14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens,[a] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. 16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

I think both. Jesus left His heavenly home to come down to earth as fully man and fully God. Jesus could not sin because He was God, God cannot sin because God is Holy. Jesus came because a sinless human sacrafice was needed to cleanse us of our sins (such as our sins were placed on Him, but He was not sinful) However, as a man He had the choice to sin or not.

I hope this doesn't confuse you even further. The book of John and Romans are two great books to look further into this.

Most Christian say Jesus is both God and man, which is true, but I think we often forget that Jesus was a man just like you and me. Jesus was tempted (Matt 4:1), just like you and me. He struggled with this temptation, just like you and me, even to the point of shedding blood (Heb 12:4). He ate, went to the bathroom, cried, and felt pain.

Hebrews describes it best:

Heb 2:17 For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Jesus submitted his will perfectly to the Father's as a man (Luk 22:42). But as the Holy One of God who came from heaven (Jn 3:!3), who was before Abraham (Jn 8:58), who saw Satan fall (Lk 10:18), who created ALL things (Col 1:16), who was Immanuel (God with us) (Matt 1:23), He was the only one who could live a sinless and holy life pleasing to God!

So the right answer is.....both.

Jesus was a man that chose not to sin even when tempted.

Neither. Assuming that he even existed in the first place, Jesus didn't sin because there is no such thing as sin.

He didn't sin because He chose not to as a man.

I think Jesus did sin. No way you could get through life and not break on of the 613 laws. He did some work on the Sabbath, that was one mentioned I believe.

He was aware of the falsity of sin. That it was only in our minds and beliefs. But He knew that we were all one, all of God, all perfect as created. That is what was divine!
