If your job involve handling money, most like your employer would check on your background and credit history. Bank is no exception. I suggest you talk to a bank teller next time you go to the bank. Having bad credit does not necessary mean that you cannot work in the bank. Not everyone having a bad credit are bad people. May be something happened to your family which caused financial hardship on you. May be you were temporary out of work. Or may be you were hospitalized and missed some payment. Just make some excuses and be persistent.

Unfortunately, SOME employers will use a negative credit report against you. However, not all. So, cast your bread and see what happens. And, work on your credit. Good luck.

yes, and no you dont have to be bonded to be bank teller, just eligible to be bonded, which has much more to do with your criminal history and not your credit ratiing,
