I really, really want to study abroad in africa, but the trip is $6000 and I don't think my parents are up for paying that much money by themselves. What is a good kind of job that a college kid can get to make a lot of money fast?
Do you think groups like Kiwanis might donate me some money (sponsor me) if I promise to give them a lecture about my trip when I get back?

i would vote on the kiwanas, or you could join the peace corps too!!! there are a lot of missionary programs that could benefit from your aid with your visit to africa, it's so much more meaningful when you know you have created peace and happiness on your trip, as well as learned a lot about another culture firsthand.
and by the way, thank you for that reply you gave me :) everything is a lot better now, and i'm not so uneasy anymore. life has a lot to teach.
