If their religion said evolution happened then they would believe it without a doubt, wouldn't they?

Yes they would.

The funny thing about your question is that by moving the question mark and adding a period, you answer your own question...Why do people denounce evolution? Because of their bible.

No, some people who claim Christianity also claim evolution, so the two don't cancel out each other, all the time. I have looked into the claims of evolution with an open mind (I haven't always been a Christian you know, I became one when I was 22, so I had a good six years or more outside the bible) and found it lacking. There is just too much stuff in nature that cannot be explained by evolution. When I drive down the road and see a house, do I assume that it just came together?

As a believer in the creator, I call God.
I believe all things are possible with Him.
I WILL NEVER ACCEPT THE RIDICULOUS THEORY HOWEVER, that I evolved from an APE.
I can accept the EVOLUTION THEORY to an extent.
I can not however, as a rockhound/ geologist, accept the Creationists theory in whole either, as they want people to believe we/ this world, has only been here for 6,000 years.
I believe the world is a lot older than that.
The fossil record proves that.
But no...my ancestors were not apes.
I am certain GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS IMAGE and I am a part of that CREATION.
I saw a good question on here the other day..."If we evolved from APES/ Monkeys, then why are there still monkeys/ Apes around today" ???

Evolution is the most advanced theory to explain physical phenomena that nobody can denounce. This theory cannot say exactly what is the origin of life, even the simple blade of grass.
It is denounced when pseudo-scientists use it to explain the origin of man, and especially to denounce the One True God.
All the sciences of man are less than a mustard seed before the boundless ocean of God's knowledge.
As a created being, how dare we claim to be creator, and arrogantly deny the true Creator of all worlds and all creatures visible and invisible.

My God is big enough to have created the perfect species for our times through a process He designed called evolution.

If you stop and think deeply, you will understand how evolution is very unlikely to be an answer to anything. Genetics being what it is.The most difficult thing to try to swallow is; if everything came out of the primordial soup, how come the dinosaurs were among the first???One would expect things to grow from small to large, not the reverse.

Because they can't accept anything that isn't specifically written down in the Bible. If it's not in the Bible, then it can't possibly be true.

Therefore bats are birds, rabbits chew cud, and the mustard seed is the smallest of all things. Shellfish are an abomination, and talking animals are perfectly normal.

The bible is but verification of what i believe. I believe what Facts have been demonstrated about evolution are true, the missing parts Are the unseen hand of God,evolution is but the Visible proof that God is still in the process of manifesting the expanding universe.

well...if my God would've created this world by using evolution, he wouldn't be my God. The God that i believe in and pray to created the world like it says so in the bible. the theory of evolution goes against God, and creating. it's a contradiction. why should i accept something that goes against God, and against what he did? the theory of evolution was made up so people could be steered away from God, and think that somehow, the world magically created itself.
