What would you go with: a 2002 Mazda Protege5 with 50,000miles, or a 2001 Honda Civic EX (with aftermarket DC headers, Megan exhaust, prem. rims, and upgraded suspension and AEM Cold Air) with 77,000 miles?? Thanks!
PS. Both are 5-speed and similarly priced.

If it weren't for the mileage on the Civic, I might have had a mechanic take a look at it, but...I went with the P5, and am satisfied so far. Thanks again.

I have a 02 Protege5 it runs like a champ. Great handling, good speed and comfortable ride. I have no problems with my car at all(65,000 miles). I do have a friend though that had a leaking valve cover gasket that had occured around 75,000 miles that ran him around $150 to fix. All in all it a great all around car that anyone could appreciate.

The Protege is the best choice. My wife has have 3 Proteges and they last forever. And I would never buy a car which has been modified after factory, because they are not reliable and probably has been driven like a hot rod.

depends on the condition of the honda. Test drive both and compare them. I'd personally take the honda if it is running correctly.

mazda. i'd never buy a car that has been moded liek that. it means someone has probably driven and beaten the whooie out of the car before they are selling it. you don't want some car some teenie has redlined a hundred times, and abused it.
