Or is strictly in the months of October & November? Do you have to have a hunting license in all areas if you are a non-resident? I'm oblivious to hunting sorry. This is actually a question for a friend.

Colorado no longer has a spring bear season, it was eliminated by a State Constitutional Amendment passed by a referendum several years ago that also eliminated baiting and use of dogs for bear.

Coyotes and prairie dogs are in season year around, the snow goose season extends into March and the spring turkey season is open in April.

A hunting license is required for any hunting. A small game license is necessary for coyote, prairie dog and snow goose. Federal and State Migratory Bird stamps are also needed for snow geese. A Spring Turkey License is needed for turkey.

I believe that like Montana, Colorado has a spring bear season, but most of your big game seasons are in the fall
