My bf's daughter is one of five girls in homecoming court, and we're going to the coronation next week. It's a big deal to her, and I wanted to get her a gift from her dad. What's a simple, classic, not outrageously expensive idea?? Thanks!

A locket or braclet with a heart and an engraving from "things remembered" that's simple "Love Dad-2006"... That's enough.

The best gift I ever got from my dad was a letter telling me how proud he was of me and of what I had done so far with my life, and of what I was about to do. This expression of love is a treasure which far outweighs anything you can find in a store.

Personalized Sterling Silver Hoop Earrings at Walmart.com are a nice gift idea. They are cheap to $34.97. She could wear them on her special night. Or something to this effect that is cheap but personal.

How about a photo book or something to keep the memories from that night in? Its simple and shows you are thinking about her and when she looks at it later on, she will remember who its from. You want to take alot of pics and have good memories from a special night like that.

that is a very nice gesture what is her favorite stuff toy or animal or any thing she likes and have it as pendant with a chain in gold of course or you can get her a charm bracelet with lucky charms OR A RING WITH HER BIRTHSTONE AND ON THE INSIDE ENGRAVE THE SPECIAL DAY FROM DAD AND LET HIM PUT INA FEW WORDS HIMSELF ABOUT IS DAUGHTER THAT IS VERY SENTIMENTAL AND SHE WOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER DAD AND HER DAY
