Why can't we all get along? Can we just respect each other's opinions without insulting anyone? Do you think it's possible?

It seems to me that one that does not understand the question is you. I asked about anti's and pros' not illegals. Perhaps you might want to read the question again

I'm sure some can, but as is the nature of extremists of all types, most of those with extreme positions on both sides of the issue are immune to reason, unwilling to engage in meaningful debate, and frequently immune to humor. It would be nice, but I'd put money on a lottery ticket instead of betting on them getting along.

The problem with the immigration issue is that we have to tighten up the laws meaning people who come here illegally can't have the benefits that are reserved for legal and natural born American citizens.

If the anti-illegals really thought about it they would remember their US History. At one point everyone but the Native Americans were "illegal." (For the record: No I am not Native American.)

I agree that everyone should do things legally, however, I do not agree with our governments approach. The original immigrants came to escape persecution and to find a better life. Now we want to tell others they can't do the same? How is that fair.

When the pro-illegals realize how foolish they've been for thinking that illegal immigration is a good thing, and stop being traitors to the USA, and to their fellow Americans.

I for one will try to get along with anybody because the only way your voice has any real meaning is in the voting booth and that is where I will make my voice heard when I do my part to help the democrats take back the house and the senate.

How can Pro-Americans get along with people who break our laws. I, personally, am not insulting anyone when I am merely stating the truth. I am stating facts, not throwing insults. Only the truth hurts. That's when the race card is played & we are accused of throwing insults.

If you mean getting along with opposing viewpoints, yes it can and sometimes does. I like other peoples views, I do not agree with people who support amnesty for illegal aliens. But, they don't agree with me either. So, it can happen...

There is no reason for the attempt to even be made. Why should anyone even remotely give any credibility to those who promote breaking our laws and destroying our society by giving comfort to the enemy who is actively participating in both.

Illegal immigrants BROKE THE LAW
If YOU BREAK THE LAW, you will get punished.
So send all of them back where they came from, and let them come here throuogh a legal process !!!
What part of that do you not understand?
