I know some white guys in england can be pricks, but they are a minority, especially if you go to a cosmopolitan city like London. The hype is worse than the reality. If anyone gives you a hard time just tell them to p*** off. If you are in a bar or club tell the bouncer and he wil kick them out.
Unfortunately there are ignorant people everywhere. Don't let these few morons ruin your travel plans.

Why? This is a phobia I have never heard of. If anyone is going to give you a hard time in the UK it almost certainly won't be a white person, that's why the place is so popular with other nationalities.

UK is great, people are great white /black /brown /pink or orange
all great, (apart from a minority of idiots irrespective of colour that you will find in every country of the world)
give individuals a chance you may be surprised
also when you go get a steak n kidney pie...lovely!

I'm guessin' that the white guys in the UK are more accepting of your dark skin than the white guys in the US. The UK guys are jerks when they visit America, but when they stay here for a few years, they get used to our crappy beer, or ALE, as they like to call it & seem to lose some of the hatred for American women!

there are not so many of them now. Mostly Jamaican and Pakistani are around, closer to your colour/ Nothing to be scared of.
