A couple years ago I had found little cards and bookmarks that had a person's name, what it meant and a Bible verse to go with it. After I had those, someone had given me a web site where I could find the Bible verses for anyone's name. Does anyone have any idea where I can find either the web site, or a place to get the cards and bookmarks? THANKS

There are several places where you can get meanings and cross references, on the web, most of it depending on what you belive. For example, the Catholic Church has an encylopedia of not only names and meanings of names and figures but also history of the Church, etc. Ditto for Judism and other Christian sects.

One book that is very useful if you're looking for more symbolism and Hebrew cross referencing is "The Metaphysical Bible Dictionary." Good luck!

I don't know about the book marks, or the web site, but if you are doing a study in the Bible, you can find the meanings of Bible names at:

Hmmm, your post is a bit vague. But names in scripture actually described people. How about this: Gen 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. Jacob = supplanter or deceiver Israel = God prevails God changed Jacob's basic nature from a deciever to a fighter. So he also changed his name to reflect that.
