He thinks you will be easily impressed by the expensive gift. He does not know you or let say he does not know females per say. His ploy is to impress you and then see if you will sleep with him then he will go out and shop again. do not let him fool you get out while it is safe

He is trying to buy you. Don't accept the gifts. It would be wrong.

he might be overcompensating for something...i wouldn't take it personally though. i think he thinks that in order for u to really like him he needs to impress u by buying lavish gifts.
