According to all of the studies I have came across it is shown to have increased rapidly. Although some state that it is just because of doctors becoming more aware of the disease and its characteristics. One out of 166 children will be diagnosed with autism. Autism also effects boys more so than girls. A good site is autism.com and autismspeaks.com. I hope this helps. My son has autism so i have done quite alot of research. While autism is not linked with cancer, her interest in keeping a clean chemical-free environment for her charges at the ranch (a therapy center) has lead her into other areas.

It has risen. And I read recently that the increase is being blamed on the mercury found in vaccines solutions.
