It's going to hurt more than getting one on other less sensitive areas, as the skin on the wrist is thin. It's not unbearable or excruciating though.

I have the inside of my left wrist done. It is my last name in Chinese. Very pretty and my first tattoo.
it really didn't hurt all that bad. There were moments that it stung, but nothing like my second tattoo. Actually, there were moments that it felt pretty darn good.
They're addictive. Becareful.
Also, wrist tattoos are hard to hide from employers. Make sure you really want it and are willing to deal with the consequences.

Pain is subjective. Everyone has different pain tolerances. My wrists are extremely sensitive, but my back is not. The wrist was difficult for me, but my spine didn't hurt a bit.
If you've never gotten a tattoo before, you should understand that it's not a painful sort of hurting. It's more like irritating and feels like after you've scratched a sunburn or a bruise. It's annoying, but not unbearable.

All of those people obviously do no longer understand what they're speaking about. even as tattooing the needles do not puncture your pores and skin deep sufficient to go back everywhere close on your veins. It has no longer some thing to do with that. That artist would no longer elect to placed it better because of the mobility in that section. places the position you bend has a tendency no longer to carry ink properly. It also would have some thing to do with procuring a interest. similar to some artists gained't tattoo knuckles or necks or faces. i'm particular you'll discover someone who will position your tattoo the position you elect it in case you shop round though.

It doesn't hurt, felt quite alright. Make sure you get something you really like because being on the wrist it is something that not only you will see all the time, but other people will see it as its in such a visible spot. But as far as the pain goes, doesn't hurt anymore than any other place.

I have one on my wrist and one on my ankle and the wrist hurt soooooo bad. It also depends on how much pain you can take, but it hurst. It alot. After the tattoo is done, you dont feel any pain at all.

I have both of my wrists tattoo'ed, I personally don't think it hurt too much. It does a little, but its bearable. It just felt like arm, from my elbow to my fingertips was vibrating.
Everyone's threshold of pain is different, so its difficult to ask if it hurts, as it may hurt on one person, but not the other

well, it depends on your pain tolerance, i have a tatt on my wrist and for me it wasn't all that painful, mind u it's the outline bit that may hurt a little then depending on whether u have it filled in or not u may find it's not all that painful, oh n the filling in part doesn't hurt. but on a scale of 1-10, I'd give it bout 4-ish? hope that helps :)
