ok im almost sure this guy i like also likes me,.. but im not exactly the most confident person. also i work with him so i mean there is some boarder lines i shouldnt cross how do i ask him out with confidence, and without getting in trouble with my boss. also without looking to eager?

ok its not against the rules to date coworkers i was refering to herassment they take that seriously and saying the wrong thing could get me fired if someone other than him hears it..... k?

Well, there is no fast and hard rules that indicates that you can't date your colleague. But people always have this fear is that if the relationship don't work out well, there is definitely embrassment between the two staff. The other point that is to be taken into consideration is that if either party have a higher authority than the other, he/she may do things that favour his/her partner. Other than that there should be no problem with this type of relationship.

Why would you get in trouble with your boss? If people in your office are not supposed to date, then don't ask him out (unless you figure it's worth risking your job over).

Ask him to join you for lunch...that's time-limited, and less serious than a dinner or something...y'all can talk and you can better find out his feelings...maybe he'll be the one to ask you out next :)

I think it is perfectly alright to date your co-worker. Many of the married couple know each other from the workplace where we spend half of life there. Be confident, don't worry about a thing and go for it. Jia You ! :)
