B/c I know they don't use it to make their hair smell better if thats the case they can use shampoo.

I honestly never knew there was a thing such as "Hair lotion."I was talking about skin lotion but i thjing I night want to try it!!

Good question.
Hair lotion is obviously an excellent moisturizer for hair; there are lotions for every hair texture imaginable. If you're thinking of using lotion for your hair, I advise you to use hair lotion. There are hair lotions available on the market that contain fragrances, while others are fragrance free. Shampoo, despite labels indicating how moisturizing/well-suited for "all hair textures", may contain wonderful fragrances and can dry out certain types of hair.

HAIR LOTION is designed to mositurize the hair. Facial or body lotions just make it greasy because they are not designed to penetrate your hair.
A hair lotion is thicker than a conditioner and intended for deep moisturization. It is used to treat severely damaged or dry hair. These heaver formulas are meant to be applied only to the damaged or dry areas (such as dry ends) and will over moisturize the healthy hair, thus weighing it down.

It raises the moisture level. Enough moisture makes hair softer. You can do this too. Just remeber to only put a little, ttoo much makes ur hair look and feel icky. Only put it in hair below you ears.

Doesn't it make it pretty greasy? Never heard of anyone putting lotion in their hair. Hear of vinegar but not lotion.

For some people, who have dry hair with split ends, they use it to rehydrate their hair and keep it shiny and moisturised. Other people use it just to tame their hair because there are less chemicals than some hair products. Its actually not a good idea though.
