It's a peaceful religion, people usually like to point out a lot of bad things which are not true.

If the religion, and its teachings, are so 'peaceful', WHY do I see on T.V. these large groups of Men, [and only men] rampaging with faces full of hate. And they are NOT being chastised by their leading Mullahs. They are being LED by those very same Mullahs, or Imams.
The LEADERS of their religion.
Then there is the recent case in Australia when sheikh Hilali called women 'cat's meat' and placed the total blame on them if they got raped because they were lightly dressed. Not a word to the Muslim men that rape is wrong. And then he turns around and says that a long sentence imposed on a young Muslim rapist was a bit hard. What about the girl. Not a word of sympathy. Australians have demanded his deportation.

People are still so hurt over 9-11 that they feel the need to attack Islam. They are forgetting that the men who did that are extremists. They need a scapegoat, so they blame all of Islam. Many are Christians who would rather point fingers at Islam for all of the wrongs of the world than look into their own violent history.

Anyone who truly learns about Islam, who does their research and talks to Muslims, knows that Islam is peaceful, logical and true.

Addition: lookilu56, is your answer in reference to me? If it is, you have no reason to feel that way. You don't even know me! People like YOU are the reason I don't have any second thoughts about leaving the US. Try practicing a little tolerance and respect, will you? I didn't say anything to deserve that.

Every muslim has to follow strictly the commandments of Islam.
Most people don't like restrictions in life, don't you see even people can't obey as little as The Ten Commandments. How about the holy Quran which contains 6,666 commandments?
But never to deny that Islam is the only true religion on earth.
Why should we bother about what others say because of their ignorant and jealousy. Islam is not for a particular tribe, it is the religion for all mankind.

Because people following Islam are to blame. Why have you not kept a check on your fellow believers. Islam is considered a terrorist type of religion. Which is wrong. Islamic people are by and large peaceful people but one apple that is bad spoils the whole basket of apples. You as an Islamic person must organize a peoples watch issue fatwas that any terrorist will be punished before he can harm innocents any where in the world.

Because just like any other religion, there is a small number of people who are giving rest a bad name. Many non-Muslims would be less inclined to thinking wrongly about your religion if they heard more good Muslims keeping the mistaken ones in line, or at least condemning behavior that is not true to your religion. I wish Christians would do that with Pat Robertson.

It's true that people are pointing wrong to Islam but look to the bright side of that! People then are curious about it and they start reading about the noble Islam and then they will just fall in love with it and know it's the best

Islam can be interpreted, and usually is by most good Muslims, as a religion of peace. The rest of the world sees stupid radical fanatical Islamic killing, killing, killing innocent people over and over ... why do you think people are so critical. Duh!

Osama is destroying Islam, all around the world. Time for Muslims to stop terrorism ... and him now ! If you know him turn him in for the good of Islam.

The 'O' idiot said he didn't want to live in a world of "infidels" ... neither do I want to live in a world of violent murderous people who will kill me for thinking for myself and beat my sister for not wearing a bhurka. ( primitive idea of women ... Huh ?)

No sir the whole of Gods world is turning against Islam just because of that. Easy to understand, Hope you get it !

Sorry I am not an Infidel I am a Christian who will gladly say hello to you in the morning ... an infidel will blow you up in the morning.

If you truly believe in peace then correct the problem. Islam must take care of Islam. Stop terrorism and stupid hatred in your own religion and the rest of Gods creation will come to respect you, and what you believe. As I do.

Yours truly;
Jonnie

PS I don't believe in George Bush either ... or in war at all .
PS ( again ) Mohamed said he was The Prophet ... Osama says by his actions that he is god ... do you believe that ?
I don't !

Because people always need a scapegoat. Today it's Islam, tomorrow, who knows. Better watch it, because a few choice individuals are so freakin' ignorant and fearful of what is different in their eyes that they immediately declare something 'evil' or 'bad' without even knowing anything about it.

Perhaps they feel the need to justify their own religion by bashing all the other ones.

Others take extremist views on everything.

Others like to nit-pick everything to make their own points, and take things out of context.

It's the same with Christianity bashers ... some just don't get it lol

People like to point out the bad they see (or think they see) in anything.
