Um, a lot of places don't allow it, so your son might get embarrassed if you let him do that. What about glass and all kinds of junk on the ground? Stepping in soda that was spilt in the theatre? Yuck... I wouldn't.

although kids enjoy being barefoot, most places have a no shoes, no shirt, no service policy so it probably wasnt a good idea. i guess it depends on where you live though, some places its fine, others its unacceptable. i wouldnt say you were wrong for making that decision.

Hell no! You did the right thing in supporting your kid. In the end he'll only trust you more. Besides whats wrong with walking barefoot?

That probably wasnt a good idea. Sandals would have been ok, but there is alot of stuff he could step on..or in..

get over it. He probably got enough dirty looks to keep him from doing it again. Soemtimes we have to make our kids do things to fit in with society.

Depends on how old he was...if he was old enough to walk, then yes, but if he couldn't walk, I don't see the harm.
