Social Security benefits have no relationship to where you live. You should be sure to provide the Social Security folks you new address as soon as you move so the decision and benefits will follow.

Whatever amount of social security you are entitled to will be the same regardless of what state you live in. Your social security amount is based on your past earnings, not where you live.
