It really depends on the man... some are completely accepting of it, some may be shocked at first but are willing to understand she has a son, while some others wouldn't date her just for that reason. I think a lot of the reason the latter men wouldn't want to date her is because they would consider the child "baggage" or something that would take away all of her time. While her son should be her first priority, it certainly doesn't mean she can't go out and have a good time once in a while.
Tell her not to worry... she will find a guy who loves and appreciates both her and her son, and will protect and love them both the same. Good luck to her also :)

I don't think the kind of guy that would be worthy of her and her son would feel the little one is a negative, to the contrary, a man of character is just that.... If she is worried about the two year old being a detriment to her dating she needs to get herself in a good single mom's support group to help her sort things out, because mean it or not, she will reflect this negatively in her interaction with the little one. Bottom line, she need not worry, if she is a good person, loves herself and her baby boy, just the right person will be there at just the right time, I promise.

Not true - some guys may be turned off by that - but if the guy is anything worth her keeping around then a kid wouldnt stand in the way - Plus she's HOT! Come on man only a loser immature would pass that up b/c of a kid! Life is way too short!

It's a little harder but it'll happen. I say about it's probably only a 20-30% difference in trouble finding a date for a mum with a kid then a woman w/out. I mean ur dating her, right?

Your friend needs more self esteem! Single moms are so respected by me, my sisters is one. Though it's tough, she now has a serious boyfriend, she has a two year old too! She'll get a man that will respect her, and will be mature enough to take care of a kid with her too! Tell her I wish her THE BEST!!! ;)
