I believe they are military 'contractors' in Iraq.

They are are Mercs. Hired guns. Mostly Ex-US and Nato military. They are hired to do security, bodyguard work and esccort for NGO's, oil companies, trucking & construction firms.
They do the job the military can't do.
Well paid for it as well. Many can earn 100K a year..

You're right. They are. They employ a lot of former Special forces guys that do security in Iraq. Those four guys who got killed in Falluga and hung from that bridge were Black Water contractors.

They take prior military special forces and special ops members. They pay a butt load. But be careful, everybody in it is in it for the money.

they are a private group that is contracted for assisting the military. most of the members are former special forces members and have a feel for what is at stake

I can only say i beleive this is a black ops organization that does very diry things here and around the world.
