Ahhh... two years is such an investment isn't it? Don't you feel like you've put up with so much b.s. that why not stick it out just a little bit longer and see if it doesn't improve? Here's a scenario for you... when you are baking a cake and put in too much salt, you've ruined the batter. There is no use going on and baking the rest of the cake... it is ruined. You've already identified the problems with this guy... you know the "cake" of your relationship is ruined. It might be the cultural differences, or it might be that he is just immature and doesn't know how to handle a real relationship. But the bottom line is this...you are prolonging something that is useless... and whether or not he will agree with your assessment, the truth is, you already have started picking apart the relationship and finding all the problems... so why not leave? What is keeping you with him? Sit down and write out all the pros and cons. If the bad outweighs the good, dump the guy. If you are sad more than you are happy, leave him.

dump him honey. he sounds like he will be a wife beater. not good darling, not good at all. Twisting words? I just saw 20/20 last week. Get a copy of it if you can. It was this guy who made his son, tape his mother (her son too) being humiliated by him. Same thing. He twisted her words, was controlling. He would have ended up killing her if she hadn't left. Be strong and leave. But be careful and make sure you have a "support system" top back you. Get the police involved if you must and tape conversations or keep messages to prove what he is like. Seriously. This guy sounds BAD.

Been there, done that, why dont you just leave? Because you arent ready. If you were you wouldnt be posting the question on yahoo, you would have left already!
Life is to short to be in an unhealthy relationship. Sure we all have our problems, but if they are constant then start looking for a way out.

That's not good and it will not get better he will start hitting if he has not already. I know that kind and he is doing the things he says you are. You will only hurt more in the long run. Take what you can and LEAVE.

Why do you want to put up with a boyfriend like this. Kick him to the curb. There are good guys out there just looking for a girl like you.
