it depends on the rate of progression, your body's Ph balance, your immune system, and the location of the abscess. but think about it... is it worth it? if cost is an issue, think about this - would you rather be broke and alive.... or have a couple extra dollars but dead? go to the dentist... now. a dentist i was working with, and i, almost lost 2 patients because they both waited until the last minute to have their abscesses looked at.

I really doubt u will die from a tooth abcess...Just get some antibiotics from ur Dentist and they will start working 24-48hrs and all the abcess will go away along with the pain

Well,it is a infection and it can get into your blood.Specially for upper teeth.Their roots are very close to your sinuses.The infection,the pass(yellow liquid)can travel throu your sinuses to your head.You don't really want that.At least get a sicle of intibioticks to calm it dawn.

if it is in your mouth then the bacteria will travel straight to your heart and cause the lining of your heart to get infected... this will lead to what's called sepsis and that will be one of the causes you die from
