I think it is annoying when people whine about their pet peeves. I think you choose to be annoyed.

I can't stand it when people bad mouth disabled people calling them a retard(no offense anyone) I had a sister that was labeled like that through out her life because of a seizure disorder. That word is used to freely in language now that nobody considers that there may a person around it may be offending due to a disability or a loved one with a disability. Rude and Insensitive to me when I hear people say that and have no experience.

There are only 3 things that annoy me the most

1. Snoring
2. Channel flipping (tv or radio)
3. Mothers or Fathers yelling at their kids on the other end of the phone while your trying to have a conversation.

Gritting teeth, smacking food, popping gum, Taking a drink from something, setting it down and then immediately picking it up to take a drink again. Talking with food in their mouth, spitting, snorting their snot back up their nose, eating while talking on the phone, interrupting conversations, and slurping. There, I think that about covers it.

I don't know if it's consider an habit but I can't stand people who doesn't have good manners, there are a lot of people who forget to say good morning back when you say it, or who doesn't have the courtesy to hold the door for you and they think they own the world, they even look at you over the shoulder, and is kinda funny ...I always think that the more you show your good manners the less you look getho! and these people think they are all that!

Nose picking... disgusting!

Also, when I am opening a door and another person is behind me, I always hold the door open. I hate it when they walk right in and do not say "Thank You". I say it for them really loud ....

Eating while talking to you on the phone. These are the same people who tend to chew with their mouths opened. Very annoying.

I HATE rude customer service. I have worked with the public my whole life and know it can be stressful at times. But there is no reason for them to take out their bad day/sucky life out on other people. If I get shitty service I always bring it to the attention of the manager or corporate office.

there are several that bug me, I get grossed out when people stick their fingers in their ears or up their nose, pick the skin and then examine what they found, picking at their teeth. they act like animals and might as well hike a leg and lick themselves. I also can't stand when someone takes a ballpoint pen and keeps clicking the damn thing, it drives me nuts! and I hate when people repeat themselves, like we didn't hear them the first time.

I really dislike it when people latch on to one word or phrase, then use it all the time.

I have a roommate who says "And scene" whenever she's finished talking and she wants a response. It's incredibly annoying.

Oh! And tailgaiting.
