The kiwi fruit is not a citrus fruit. Its actually is an edible berry. Originally it was known as the chinese gooseberry. Hope this helps!

No. It comes from a vine similar to the way that a grape does. The vine is subtropical and will not survive cold winters so there is a limit to where it can grow in th US.
