God is the creator and giver of all life. He is THE one and only God of all of creation. God is not sharing heaven with no others but the angels who are also sons of God, since he created them as well. God IS. God's Word was born of a virgin, and made into flesh, and named Jesus, on earth, so since Jesus is the word of God, Jesus is also God too. God's Holy Spirit is what impregnated Mary. God's Spirit is God too.
Man is not a separate entity from his word, nor is man a separate entity from his spirit. Man is still one man, and God is still ONE GOD. (Not God in 3 persons). We ARE made in His image. God's Word was on Earth to show man how to regain the eternal life that he lost when he first sinned in Paradise.
God loves us so much, that He still wants us to be with Him in Paradise, so Jesus showed man how to do this, and regain eternal life. Some people STILL don't see that. Some religions take one part of the bible and base an entire religion on it. Then they change parts of the bible to fit that interpretation of that one passage they liked. Too bad we won't know until judgement day, which religion, "Got it Right". Until that time, I choose to worship the Lord. Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess, that Jesus is Lord God Almighty.
My God's name is Yahweh. It means: I AM. This is why God IS. He said his name was I AM. He told Moses, when asked who should Moses say sent him, to tell them that I AM sent you.
The original scriptures would not have ANY name in it with a J, seeing that the letter J is only about 500 years old in the English language. Jesus's earthly name would have been Yoshua.
Many people worshiped idols then. The Romans, were totally idol worshipers. The Roman Catholics came from their worldview. They have the holy scriptures that were inspired by God. They did not want anyone outside of the church to read them. They would kill anyone that did not worship as they did. Hence the Spanish Inquisitions. Pure, unadulterated torture of humans. Martin Luther, and many others protested the abominations of the Roman Catholic church, and posted the grievances on the church door. They included the worship of saints and icons and Mary as a queen in heaven and eternal virgin. Martin Luther translated the Holy Scriptures into German so that the common man could read for himself the word of God. The translation of the Holy Scriptures is called the bible.
The people that agreed with Luther, were called Protestants, meaning to protest. The first protestants were called Lutherans, after Martin Luther. That first Protestant church, and all since has called its members Christian, just like the Catholic Church is called Christian, because we came out of her. (Even though we have different viewpoints). Some Protestant churches still held on to some beliefs of the Catholic church, while some let go of them all. This is why the Protestant Christians are divided even more.
King James also translated the scriptures into English. This is the most accurate translation. We know it as the King James Version. The bible was not written by men, the Holy Scriptures were. The bible has been translated by men many times, and each time tends to lose something in the translations as well as the interpretations of them.

My GOD is the creator of all things. My GOD is the GOD of Abraham. He has a son who is my Lord. His name is Jesus. He is the holy one of Israel. Jesus is my religion if you define religion as "mans way of relating with GOD".
May GOD richly bless you.

God is the Creator of the World. He is Our Father in Heaven. He sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for the sins for all mankind. Because of this we are saved by faith alone.
