Hi there...yes, cats can suffer from mange as well.

It's possible your cat may have parasitic infection (dermatophytosis/ringworm) or skin fungus which can also contribute to fur loss as well.

Consider ringing your vet to discuss arrangement for a thorough evaluation.

Mange in cats seems incredibly a lot the comparable if a canines has mange. they are going to be very itchy, scabby and be lacking hair. the terrific thank you to tell in the journey that your cat has mange is to take him to the vet and ask them to do a pores and skin scraping. there is not any thank you to handle it with out having anitbiotics out of your vet. I even have had numerous fosters that have had Demodectic Mange(non contagious type) and we had to place them on Ivermectin and bathe with a medicated shampoo.

It could be. I would check her for fleas though. Even though the skin looks healthy, cats have a tenancy to chew on their fur when they have fleas. If you feel of the fur where it is thin and it feels like broken hair or stubble, that means that she is chewing on herself. No matter what, with hair loss, you will want to take her to see the vet. There are a lot of reasons for hair loss, so it is best to see the vet.
