Just for having a crush on him? Heck no! Now, if he's married or of a denomination that does not permit its clergy to marry, you're just going to have to accept that and back off. If he's very much older than you - well, you might want to consider directing your amorous leanings elsewhere. But no, ya ain't goin' to the Devil just 'cause you like the guy!

NOOOOO!!! I was once that pastor, and a Maid of Honor made some serious passes at me... was kinda funny.
God doesn't send anyone to hell for having temptations. As you describe it, that's all that happened, right?
In fact, I'm betting God doesn't send people to hell for screwing up and giving in to those temptations. If that is the case, then we are all doomed.

Having a crush on someone, regardless of who it is, is not sin. If then you are having sexual thoughts ( lusting ) then it is sinful to think such things about another not being your spouse.
But having a crush on someone is not sin. But beware, satan is out there to sift us like wheat, merely having a crush on someone is not sinful, however a crush is usually the first step to some other kind of sinful act. My advice to you is, keep your eyes on Christ, walk the walk, watch, wait for Him, He is coming soon.

do you feel like you are going to hell if you do ask forgiveness and make it right but having feeling for some one is something God put in us it makes it really painful tho when that other person is married really painful if you fall in love with that person but keep it pure Love is good keep it pure.
