I cant say for the gown of grace.. thats new to me... but try this
Isaiah 61:10 10 I delight greatly in the LORD;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
The "gown of grace" may come from this concept

Check a Concordance ... a good concordance will list the words in the Bible and provide you with the Chapter and Verse for each occurrence of it.
For many years there were just a very few different Concordances. But now, with Bible translations being stored on computers and printed from them, it is easy to produce a concordance for almost every translation.
Also, with Google you can search for "gown of grace" or "robe of righteousness" and likely will find some Biblical occurrences and, also, what others have written about those expressions.

8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

I think that those are metaphors, built on the "armor of God" examples of Paul. They are interesting sermon rhetoric, but beyond that they don't have a lot of meaning that you can dissect mentally.
If you want to find out about grace, righterousness, etc then feel free to email me. I'll tell you what various people believe, and you can find your own way from there (work out your own salvation, etc).

Isaiah 61:1-3 (NIV)
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
Isaiah 61:10 (NIV)
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Job 29:14
I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem.
