Yes you can marry her!
I saw this online. The person is from Canada but the same thing should apply.
Most law applies according to residence and not citizenship, except in
limited circumstances. If you are not in Canada as an individual, then
Canadian law generally does not apply. If you are a couple, then laws
involving you as a couple do not apply. If you come to Canada to reside
then Canadian laws apply for the duration of your stay in Canada.
Take for example a prenuptual agreement signed abroad. The agreement
must be valid in the country of signing to be legal in the first place.
It should be written in a manner that would make it acceptable if you
were to come to Canada, although, it would only be effective if it meets
Canadian law at the time of its signing, and at the time of
enforcement. Local law always applies at the time of enforcement. Note
that an invalid clause in an agreement may or may not render the whole
document invalid.
This is a common problem with wills and someone dies in a different
jurisdiction, or the beneficiaries are in a different jurisdiction.
So, say you went to a country where a PN was not permissible under law.
You could still sign a PN according to Canadian law to be effective if
you expect to enter Canada. It would have to be worded to that effect.
If you sign a PN in a place where it's accepted, but later move
somewhere that it isn't, then the PN may be voided according to local
law, and local law presides.

Be very, very careful mate. I have been living in China for five years and of the dozens of foreign/ Chinese marriages that I have witnessed, only one is intact.
The women invariably come out better off in divorce settlements, and the guys are left scratching their heads wondering what happened.
You cannot marry a woman on a visitor's visa anyway and she will have to go back to China. Go to China first and take of it there.

You may need to check with Immagration to find out what you need. They would want to know if she is just trying to marry you to stay in this country.
