no you actually die form it. a young girl at our local school died monday from it but i cant remember the name.

Anuerism? It is caused by a weakened area that causes the artery to bulge. Anything can cause it to rupture...an increase in arterial pressure, coughing..if they find it in time, it can be repaired. Common sites of aneurisms are in the brain and the abdomen.

Yes, it is called an aneurism. It can be in the brain--internally, anywhere, I guess. It is when a vessel has weak sides. the vein bulges and the continued pressure of the blood flow causes it to finally burst. It is not always fatal. In the brain--if you do not die--sometimes the person becomes a vegetable, literally. Internally, I think if it is found soon enough, they may be able to save the person.

I am so very sorry. Where was her aneurism???

An aneurysm. It is a weakening of the wall of the artery. It gets thin and balloons out eventually rupturing if not caught in time.

varicose veins. there is surgery for that. cosmetic surgery. it is caused by weakening of the vessel wall it is prevented by wearing support hose if you stand for long periods of time. standing for long periods of time with no support causes it.
