In my opinion the federal government has no right to decide for me what i can and cannot put into MY body. The governments war on drugs is the most costly war in American history and must stop now. If we spent half the time and money we spend on marijuana prohibition on stopping violent crime or on educating people about the dangers of actual damaging drugs like methamphetamine or heroin imagine how much safer we'd all be. Instead hundreds of thousands of people are sitting in jail cells right now for simply possessing a plant. Prohibition obviously doesn't work. Until the federal government passes a law to protect terminally ill patients who use marijuana medically than this sort of thing will continue.

I know that there are some egotistical bad boys in law enforcement, This sounds like one of those instances, however, there is more to the story than you are telling. Did the police over react,?yes! Was any laws being broken? Yes! Did the breaking of the law constitute an emergency? Probably not. The police who did this should be disciplined, but the ones in charge of these hooligans should bear some responsibility.

No cop broke down anyone's door to arrest them for just smoking marijuana. Try telling another story.

It's not, technically, "medical" marijuana, unless there's a prescription for it. My friend had a nasty and painful battle with bone cancer... she got a prescription for marijuana in pill form, called Marinol. It had the same effects as the smoked version (or so said my friend, who was a pot-head in her younger years). It made her high and cut back on the nausea.

After losing some bone, she made a full recovery, ditched the Marinol, and went back to her active and busy life... pot-free.

So, my question to you is, what's your source for this "news"?

Another police bashing question? I'll ask the same question I did the last time, did you get arrested again? With the active imagination that you have, and your ability to write fiction, you should look for a job writing television shows.
