000-000-0000 is another way of displaying an unknown number. it's most commonly used by mass-dialers which may dial several numbers and then dump them into a queue..it's also done by caller id systems when there's a lack of information. it all depends where the call was placed and the systems that are involved between there and your recieving end.

either way, they're usually telemarketers, survey, or just general annoyance calls that can come from more than one place.

since i can't see how this would violate any guidelines..as it's a perfectly reasonable question..whoever reported the last question probably works for a telemarketing organization and is attempting to censor the truth.

I bet its a SIP (called from a computer) number or a caller ID spoofing....
I use mindsprings (earthlink) SIP to call some friends, and they told me it shows up as 111-111-1111...then I call from my voice.yahoo, and it shoes 777777777777....so just dont worry about it!
