Don't you hate when people call you, rush off the phone (like they're busy), say they'll call you back and then don't??

yup, or they call ,you answer they say "hold on" so now you are waiting for this person who called you to come back to the phone and tell you why the hell they called. When they finally get back to the phone they say "sorry about that, gotta go, I'll call u right back"

and yeah you guessed it, they don't... I feel better now that I had that little rant

It is rude! I knew a guy who did that kind of stuff on the phone, only letting me speak with him when he called me. If I ever called him, he'd ask to call me back and he never did. And to make matters worse, he'd often hang up on me when I tried to explain to him why I disliked his behavior. Hello!! I don't want to wait by the phone when I've got things to do!!!

Yeah. for that case we have to read the sign of why they did it to us.
wheter it's just they shitty behavior or something wrong with the relationship between you and the people you called.

Yes I do, it really irratates me. Most of the time I always get back to people. It shows what the persons values are.

Get caller ID and tell them that if they don't follow through on their promise to call back in a reasonable time, then you won't take their call.

That is irritating. What I really can't stand is when people call you up to chit-chat and spend more time talking to the person with them, then you.
