I would like to know more about RLS. I have a problem of needing to stretch my legs out when I sleep and feel a constant tingling from the knees down. It is almost impossible to ignore and can keep you from sleeping. It doesn't occur every night and I'm a very healthy person, vitamin wise and body weight. Just wondering.

My sister-in-law has this disease, and it is very uncomfortable for her, and I think my husband has it occasionally, too...Has to walk about many times in the night...She does the same as you, but still suffers from it...
Here's some info on one of the meds she takes...

Reckless leg syndrome is when you just kick people for no reason ; ) I believe you mean ReSTless leg syndrome. There has been a lot more research into this problem recently and there are even some medications out there that can help. See your regular doc for a referral to a neurologist to discuss what treatment can help you get your normal sleep pattern back.

You mean RESTless leg syndrome right? I get that same feeling at times, but bnot often enough to be classified as having the syndrome. There's commercials all over the TV that talk about a new medication for it for people who suffer from it more than 15 times a month. Just google it.

I think you mean "Restless" not "Reckless". It sucks when your legs won't quit moving but I think it's just another designer "syndrome" the drug companies came up with to peddle more pills.

Yes, and I've found three things that seem to help it.
1) Iron (if you're deficient)
2) Vitamin E
3) Magnesium
Good luck!
