Is it ethical to offer a glass of water to someone who doesn't realize they are dehydrating?

Okay I left it purposly vague, but now I will add my second part...

Is it ethical to offer Jesus to people that are going to go to Hell?

I mean thats what Christians believe with their hearts. So is it right for them to try and convert everyone they know?

It would be immoral not to offer it.

Jesus told us to Go into all the World and Preach the Gospel.

I know where you're coming from and frankly some nonbelievers annoy me with the questions they give. They forget that there is also the offer of eternal peace that they can recieve as easy as anyone can but they turn their nose at mercy and forgiveness, so what then? We tell them about the alternative.. but THEN we are forcing them by trying to scare them into believing? Reminds me of when I was little, I wasnt really good at cleaning my room but my mom would say "Clean your room and then we'll go get icecream" sometimes that would be enough for me to clean my room but sometimes I thought "well I dont need icecream, so I guess I dont need to clean my room" but then my mom would see me not cleaning my room and then say "ok... if you dont clean your room, youre grounded for a week!" Sometimes I thought this was soooo unfair but sometimes I'd think "ahh well... I can stay in a week and not have to clean my room" the non-believers act exactly like this when it comes to God. They think they dont really need eternal peace so, they just wont bother with God and do what they want to and then think its unfair that He says "well if you dont come to me, you will have eternal punishment" and then thats just unfair. Well sorry guys... thats called JUSTICE and EQUALITY you either go to God His way or you're eternally sepperated... Eternal Peace or Eternal Punishment... seems like a really easy choice to ,me.

Yes, but it would be mean to point to a mirage in the desert and tell them that is where you get your water.

Who are you to decide if they are thirsty? Who are you to decide what's best for everyone else? Sounds like an ego problem....
