anyone know where to get good crab cakes outside of maryland. all the other ones taste like crap.

yeah i live in maryland and everytime we go out of state i always order the crab cake thinking it will be good and then i eat it and it sucks so then i get hungry and sick lol

OUTSIDE of Maryland, there does not seem to be a good

The Pacific Northwest has some decent crab to make cakes with. I like them up here, but there's something about maryland crabcakes that can't be compared.

I had a good one in Maine once. Some of the chefs here in Delaware can manage a crab cake also. I had a good one at the Sheraton in Dover.

I wish you luck. I'm from Jersey, love seafood and have in many markets a and have never seen them. You might try Whole foods. They do get crabs in from time to time, but not sure if they are Blue Points.

You've never had real crab cakes until you've visited the south. Louisana for example, ah those Cajuns know seafood!
