The average American wedding is approx. $28,000, & the average wedding is about 100-200 guests so that should give you a bit of an idea. It also depends on your future bride's taste (plain, extravagant, etc). I'm planning for a late winter wedding of about 300 guests (my fiance's idea!) & I'm blessed and very grateful to have parents that have agreed to take care of everything, we're being easy on them! Thanks Mom & Dad.

depends on what you do and where you live. a lot of people do backyard get togethers and spent under 2 grand. i would guess that the average cost of a wedding would be the best guess as to a medium size wedding so around 25 grand for a medium
go to wedding places and ask about pricing. take that and add another 10% per year, because that is probably how much they will increase fees.

You want to remeber your wedding as wonderful, not as expensive. As long as you can afford it I'm sure you will love it.
You can spend a bundle and still have a horrible wedding, so right now your focus should not be on the price of one.
My fiance and I are having our wedding in The Domincan Replublic. Our invitations were made on our home computer and have the travel agents card inside with all the details. The toal cost for a beautiful Carribean wedding is 8000$

Depends on what you're spending it on. You can have a wedding with 10 people in attendance but it could still be thousands of dollars if you have things like horse drawn carriages, escargo, and lobster for your wedding. But you can do a wedding for hundreds of guests if you're just having a wedding in the park with a barbeque after for the same amount of money.
Need more information. What kind of wedding do you want?

For some of you that said 3 - 8 grand, did you even factor in the cost of the rings?
You should be prepared to dish out around 15 to 30K for your wedding, but it also depends on the number of guests you're inviting as well..

The national average cost of a wedding is 20k...I disagree with this and think it actually more like 30-40k...depending on where you live and what you are looking to do you could get away with as little as 10-15k, but could spend as much as 60-70k. It is all in the options that you choose.

Depends on city, guest count, type of dinner, size of hall, etc.
If all of the factors are average and it will be in a couple of years, I would say the $20k-30k range.
Inflation in the wedding industry is ridiculous.

Yup it all depends on where you live and your taste if taste are extravagant then its going to cost a lot if its simple it would be more affordable. It also depends on the number of guest and whether or not its going to be a sit down dinner or a buffet.
