the child of my youth would be relieved to find out that life gets better, and being a victim does not have to last forever.

I've become the kind of person my parents warned me about.

I know it's cliché; it's a bumper sticker, a t-shirt; everything. But it's true.

While there are things about me that the younger me would admire, I've broken a lot of promises I made to myself back then. I had sex before I got married (and still do), I smoked cigarettes (but quit), I drank alcohol (and still do on occasion), I did drugs (but only marijuana, and not anymore), I haven’t continued my education past high school (but I plan on it I swear), and I turned away from the Christian Church. But I have benefited greatly from that last one; I have become a better, more respectful, more intelligent, and more experienced person because of it.

Overall, I think the younger me would be proud of my accomplishments, and considering the person I am today (and not 4 years ago), she would look up to me as an important roll model.

At least I didn’t turn out like my sister...

The child of my youth would be so proud that I grew up to be a wonderful loving human being. When I look in the mirror I want to be that person's best friend.

I never dreamed for one minute as a child that I would become a follower of Jesus. It is amazing how God can transform lives!

She'd think I dress cool, but she'd probably be shocked by what I've become. If she knew what she was going to face in her life, she would understand why I ended up like this.

She'd say hey! Thought we were gonna go to Hollywood and be a rich and famous actress! WTF happened to you! What do you mean you never got married! We were supposed to marry Keifer Sutherland and have a buncha kids by now!! ( I had - still have - a huge crush on him when I was about 15) She wouldn't be real concerned with the no god thing - I never believed it as a kid.

As that child was full of doubt...and not a lot of faith in the one true God, and in salvation thru His Son, Jesus...he would wonder how such a change was possible.

Wow what a really boring boring guy I have become. Sometimes I think of that when I spend way too much time by myself.
