Nope, there are products that can make your hair seem thinner because they tame hair by making it smoother, sleeker, etc. However, to really reduce the thickness of hair, you have to get a layered cut to thin it out. This is done by cutting away many layers of hair beneath the top layer. It doesn't really change the length, but hair is so much lighter afterwards.

i have really thick hair too, i like paul mitchell's super skinny line (shampoo, conditioner, serum). it constracts the hair shaft, also helping hair to dry faster. now no product will make hair literally thinner, but you can use products like these to help you out.

No. Though if you dye your hair, it will cause some of your hair to fall out and become thinner. At least, that is what happened to me.

there are some that say they do but they really don't... you need to just go and get your hair trimmed and layered and thinned out it will look good i had to do that to then mine out!!
