Although it will stop spraying in most cats it doesn't always do so.
Some cats will still mark their territories especially if there are other males in the area.
I have a male that previously never sprayed until we moved to our current home. There are several cats in the neighborhood that are unaltered. This is our suspected reason for the new behavior (he has since stopped spraying.)

Usually no but under some circumstances they might. Like if another cat was in the house they may feel the need to "mark" their territory. Or sometimes certain people seem to do that to. I have had several male cats neutered and not had much problem with it. One hint if you wash the area thoroughly with pure vinegar and let dry most cats will not spray there again.

It depends on if you got him neutered before he sexually matured. If you did then it is a very good possiblity that he will not spray. If he was neutered once mature he will probably still spray.

I had a cat that was a female and for some reason she would mark a spot. I wound up having to put her outside. I've heard that a male cat will mark terrirory too.

Sometimes it will. If you get katz neutered when they are young, they usually stop, older katz sometimes take a little longer since they are accustomed to marking their territory.
