You can't go wrong with either of these sets, I've been shopping for the past two months and these two LCD's have consistently shown the most impressive picture quality in all of the stores that I've been to. I decided to go with the Sony myself and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I think I would have been just as happy with the Sharp too. You can't lose with either one.
